Location near Gare de Lyon enables good travel connections. Good restaurants and bistros nearby. Hotel converted approx 2010 from old and narrow apartment and shows it. About 37 VERY small rooms. (Leave the room to change your mind.) Separated bath and toilet are modern and bright. Excellent room lighting. Nespresso coffee machine much appreciated. The low rating is given because management failed to include any English language tv stations on cable service. In view of clientele this is inexplicable. Also, the bed in #403, if not in the entire hotel, actually squeaks in discomfort and slopes down at the edge. Unacceptable. The front desk staff, especially Xavier, are very friendly and informative.

We stayed at the Sleeping Belle and the welcome we first received was fantastic and throughout nothing was too much trouble. Xavier was so helpful. Pointing us in the right direction. Spoke good English which assisted us. Metro nearby to get to the central parts of Paris and lovely little bars, cafes and restaurants. Room was perfectly formed we had no issues with size as per previous comments. En suite was a tad on the smaller size. If I had to say anything I would prefer a bigger shower head and it drifted to very hot at times but I’m really clutching at straws and would hesitate in booking this hotel again

The hotel is very nice and the lobby pleasant. But it has too many issues; when we came, the elevator was not working. The day before departure one newly replaced water balloon broke, the wifi went down. We had no more water for a while and no warm water just before departure back to the US. I think that the cost of this hotel due to all the maintenance issues should be much more reasonable.

This Hotel pays attention to detail. My room was a cocoon of comfort in a busy area. The decor was exceptional - loved having a small library in the room. Breakfast room was also charming. Proximity to the Marais and Gare de Lyon a bonus.
