4/10 Fair

Bad stay on NYE after long work shift
I had to work nearby & wanted to avoid driving on NYE. So my girlfriend suggested we book nearby hotel to get sleep & avoid roads after a hard night of work. checked in around 3pm- got in room, left bags. My girlfriend came 5:30pmish to change and leave her stuff. She enjoyed the sangria from hotel bar. Came back from work at 2:30am to sleep. Went to bed, awoken around 3:30am in morning by someone in hallways banging on door screaming “Rachel open the door” NUMEROUS times. At 4am we called front desk to report it. They kindly apologized and said they would look into it. We could still hear all going on in hallway. Someone kept making door slamming noises throughout the night. We kept hearing opening and slamming of doors every time someone accessed hallways to the rooms. Our room was attached to the access door of hallway. There was a 2 in gap under door and light was shining bright into our room. The smoke detector had a strobe on it that kept flashing every min like battery needed changing. Our sheets rolled up- did not remain tucked in. We did not get any sleep for the time we were there. It was loud and bright. After a hard night of work with hopes of a good night rest and safety from roads, the stay was very disappointing especially for the holiday rate. I would equate it to staying at a college dorm with no windows yet a well lit room with lights off. No lotion. No hook/place to hang clothes. Shower water ran into bathroom floor- fall risk. wanted nice for NYE

2/10 Poor

BEWARE! Out of the 40 rooms at this hotel, one one has a small window to the outside. Yet they certainly don’t tell you this on their page. The rooms are very small, which is fine but their air conditioning units are loud leading to a terrible sleeping experience. The staff is friendly but clearly management has set them up to fail with all the false advertising. I’ve had much more restful experiences at far cheaper motels.
