Utter disappointment
First impressions after reaching the hotel was a total disappointment. I was so delighted for booking a 5 star accommodation but it was far from a 5 star hotel. It was more like a glorified community hall. The decor was basic the ambience was poor. The room looks like a 3 star basic facilities. Bathroom is so poorly designed as your knees get bumped to the sharp edge of sink when sitting on the toilet. There wS no Iron facility, when i asked they said it is not in the inventory list. Only good thing about this hotel was, the location. Close to the beach and conference center. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks all inclusive which is convenient. But that does not justify the 5 star pricing.The bathrooms in the basement (which is a common facility for the guests for using when they are not in the room) were in a state. The doors were broken, the bin was rusty, no paper towel to dry the hands. Actually the public toilets in the hospitals or other communal areas are far better than these.

Comfortable hotel with excellent service
From the moment we arrived and until we left, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The rooms are very 1980s,but that doesn't bother me. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. The WiFi was good. The food is plentiful with a good selection each meal time to suit everyones preferences. There are 2 good sized pools, the one at the back, much quieter. They need more sun loungers to cater for everyone, which is a shame, but maybe that's due to covid. The hotel is in a great position, 5 minutes from the sea and all the nightlife. The only thing that the hotel needs is updating the furniture to bring it into 2021,but like I said, not a problem. Maybe the hotel is not a modern 5 star establishment, but a 3 1/2 star. Well worth a stay if you ever visit this side of Crete. A big thumbs up👍

Not for people from the UK
I would like to say...this hotel is in Greece so I understand that I will not get the food I am used to at home. This hotel does not cater for a U.K. Clientele. The staff are great but the fool is not to my taste which meant that we ate out in the evening...in fact at lunch too each day. It seems to support our Easten European counterparts but that didn't work for us! We booked two nights in other hotels to enjoy a higher standard of hotel. That wing the case you get what you pay for this is cheap and accessible clean and friendly no complaints just a higher standard was required on our part!

Beautiful hotel lobby, reception and restaurant. Rooms definitely require upgrading I wouldn't say this is a 5* hotel. Food excellent. No entertainment. Rear hotel pool area run down requires attention.

Don't go there!
Rude and unfriendly staff, bad food (they charge for water at Dinner!), poor maintenance of rooms and in particular bathrooms, dirty common areas and hallways, small and crowded pool,definitely not a 5 stars as they claim.

Nice!
A convenient location, close to the shops as well as the beaches. A typical hotel for holidays in the Mediterranean, yet not noisy. Rooms spacious and with nice balcony. Poolside lounging areas very nice & well prepared by the staff everyday. All the staff members polite & most helpful. The most impressive thing I found was that on my arrival day the hotel decided to re-open its restaurant at 10pm for complimentary dinner since many guests were checking in late that evening.
