Vey poor communication and a large rat. No joke.
I stayed here 3 nights. The last morning when I was awakened by a rather large, quite healthy looking RAT in the very sleek, modern bathroom. When I turned on the light, it ran behind the clothes washer and, presumably, through the hole where the washer’s drain hose went into the wall. I called the property management immediately; no answer. I sent a message. I called again a couple of hours later. Still no answer. I messaged that I would be traveling and unavailable until after 2pm. They called while I was unavailable and said they would try again after 2pm. I still haven’t heard from them. A month before my stay, they messaged, asking for my travel documents. There was no way to attach the docs to the Hotels.com messaging portal so I asked for another way. No response. I wrote again a week later. No response. Another week later they messaged again for my documents and time of my arrival. I responded AGAIN, including my arrival time. They finally gave me a WhatsApp number and email address. They messaged a week later asking again for my arrival time. I replied. A week later they asked AGAIN for my arrival time and I told them AGAIN. They replied that, since check-in was contactless, arrival time really didn’t matter as long as it was after 3pm. Two days later they asked again for my arrival time. A friend here said that Homey is known for bad stays and poor communication. Spend a little more to stay with another company. Avoid the frustration as well as the horror of a rat
