The property was not at all what was advertised on their website
Very clean, great beach area, and helpful and friendly staff.
Kids friendly. Kids club and activities were amazing. Beach and pools were very nice. Food has variety of options but it is not the best. Concierge services was the best I have ever experienced.
Rooms were overbooked and my family was shipped to a different resort. I had paid hundreds of dollars to achieve my diving certification with the Dive shop at Allegro. I had to taxi there and back for 4 different days to complete. Very disappointed.
NO SUNSET FOR US! One of the things I truly enjoyed at my last stay with Allegro was the sunsets, however they were OVERBOOKED and shipped my girlfriend and I to a resort closer to town near the pier. Not only did we have to utilize an offsite dive center, it was noisy AND we were not able to see the sunset all week due to the cruise ships that were constantly docked at the pier. So disappointing. everyone deserves to be treated with respect, With months of advanced notice I would hope that in the future the staff at Allegro would give folks this information prior to them taking a taxi there after a long day of travel. We made the best of our trip but missed those sunsets on the beach :(
Wonderful location, friendly staff, good food, some rooms a little tired and ready for renovation. only few of front desk staff speak english outside of simple routine questions.
Very Nice beach area. Rooms were dirty, sink and shower back up and toilet kept running had to lift cover to stop. Staff although friendly at front desk could not understand English very well. We were in premium section, never enough room there. No Wi Fi even though we were told we had it, phones did not work until 5th day of stay. Food was just edible. We had stayed here before but has gone downhill. Never will be staying at this property or any others owned by this company
Location was great. However the resort is extremely dated, understaffed, and could do with significant investment.
Don't expect a King bed unless you want to deal with their time share speel.
Listen to the reviews. The food at the buffet is barely warm. We ended up going to town to eat 4 of our 7 nights. The other 3, we had a salad. It was the only thing edible. We weren’t allowed to try the specialty restaurants as they were “all booked” even though every time we checked, there were PLENTY of open tables. We upgraded to premier and that is the only saving grace. You get breakfast. Nothing special, but a couple of eggs at least. They also had their own self serve bar, but minimal options. 15th time on the island, sadly, the last time at the Allegro.
