Very handy location.
Really great location, easy walk to everything, though a little bit expensive for what it is. Breakfast is included but doesn't change from day to day, okay if you like scrambled egg or cheese and ham breadroll. Staff are friendly. Located in the centre of two barricaded plazas surrounded by government buildings with a strong police presence, very safe. Loads of restaurants nearby.

I stayed at the Colonna Palace on my first trip to Italy in ‘97. Returning for a quick one night stay this week brought back great memories. The hotel has a fresh stylish look in the lobby but the same charming rooftop dining for breakfast. My single was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the front desk staff made an excellent dinner suggestion. The political buildings nearby prompts lots of police presence around the hotel, so it was both quiet and safe. I won’t wait 22 years to return again

The two best aspects of this hotel are its location and its staff. I can't imagine a better location in Rome. The hotel is in a great neighborhood with many nice restaurants and shops, but very close to major tourist spots like the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and the Piazza Navona. Other popular places like the Vatican and the Colosseum are not too far off. The staff of this hotel is excellent - multi-lingual, helpful, and courteous. At the front desk, they remember your name/room after you check in and are available to answer any type of question or arrange for a tour at a moment's notice. A perfect place to stay in Rome.
