Manage Your expectations
We stayed here two nights as couple on a road trip from the San Juan Islands (2 nights) to Sequim (2 nights) to Lake Quinault to Cannon Beach. If you have prior experience staying in National Park lodges, you will not be disappointed. Still, I was underwhelmed, especially for the price. There are three buildings: main lodge and two motel-style buildings. We had a first floor room on the lake view building (east). Pro: nice views of lake, clean, small fridge, hot water, generally quiet, good food, beautiful grounds, beautiful classic lodge, warm pool, game room, nearby hiking trails, close to Hwy 101. Cons: small room, no bathtub (my wife is a bathtub person), very motel-ish standard everything (pillows, towels, room decor, etc.), bathroom sink area is part of main room (i.e., turning a light on at night or in morning wakes up everyone), restaurant is good but pricey with very limited alternatives, far from everything else, rain could limit activities, buildings are past their prime and do not have much of a romance factor, there were no lake activities (maybe we missed the season). In sum, come here if it fits your plans. For us, we had already spent three days hiking (Elwha and Ho) so the outdoor activities were somewhat repetitive and other activities were a long drive. Do not come here for a real romantic getaway (just my opinion). If part of a longer trip, consider visiting the lake as a day trip.

Beautiful Lake Lodge
Room was a little small, people that worked there were super nice, nice little lodge. For surrounding places to stay understand the price. The restaurant was on point and the view was to die for and worth every penny. Make sure to make a reservation for the restaurant so you get a window seat. It made any other short comings worth it. Enjoy
