Good choice in Minnedosa
We stayed here as a base to visit family who were camping at nearby Riding National park. We were allowed to check in early, there was a surprise $16.00 charge which was described as a extra cleaning charge. The hotel is a very old style, the room was small, but very clean. They have a small continental breakfast, a waffle maker is the only hot option, but the most bizarre regulation is you are not allowed to take food back to your room, something I didn't like as I'm an early riser and usually take breakfast back to the room for my wife when she wakes up. Overall, this hotel is easyon the budget, definitely not a Sheraton, but serves the purpose as a place to sleep, would stay here again if in the area

You get what you pay for! Super cute and friendly place however the bedding was all stained and wrinkled like it hadn’t been washed. The rooms definitely need a cleaning company to come through and give some TLC. Friendly staff.

We have stayed here 2 times. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. I felt safe walking outside with my dog at night. Very quiet quaint town. I will definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Gateway. The rooms have been nicely renovated and the wifi is excellent. The staff were very responsive when there was a problem with the hot water. They had it fixed within 15 minutes. The management was also very accommodating for our group allowing us to use the breakfast room for team meals. Wonderful experience!
