Staff at check in (Penelope) was lovely. Location is awesome. However - we booked and were confirmed an Ocean -View room. We faced a white wall. There is no balcony or terrace so to speak - it is just a landing for your front door. The rooms have no phone, television or clock / radio - which is fine, but I think you DO need to tell folks. There is NO mini-bar, only a fridge - so say its a fridge. Lack of privacy - if you want to keep door open, you need to have shades pulled all the way up - as the door to enter is the same as the window. Contacting Expedia during check in was completely a waste of time. We booked this hotel as it is listed as Ocean view - it is NOT. I believe only one or two rooms have ocean view - and those were already taken. Not sure if the hotel gave away our room, or if it was a screw up on Expedias end.

The host and staff of the hotel were very kind and even reached out to us a day in advance to check in on our arrival and answer questions. The hotel property is very well maintained with a pool that was warm and perfect for soaking in while watching the sunset over the beach. The pool is adjacent to the beach so you can walk directly from the pool to the heart of the San Pablo beach. The town overall is very relaxed and friendly.

Nice hotel on the beach and close to downtown
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's right on the beach, but also just a block from the center of town. The hotel and grounds are very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and the manager, Penelope was very helpful with extra items for the room and recommendations for places to eat and hear music.

Pros- Location. Right on the corner of Main Street and main beach. A few steps from the sand and also all restaurants. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Cons- Also location. It’s right where the party happens, so it’s loud. Forget about going to bed before 11pm or so. Beach in front of hotel is the most crowded with chairs, tables, people. So it all depends on what kind of vacation you want, party or relaxing.
