Long weekend in Blackpool

We had heard poor reviews prior to our stat do weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly suprised. The hotel is a large grand building that has seen better days so some areas look in need of tlc but it was clean and lots of facilities on site. Our room was adequate for our needs with a reasonable en-suite. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We enjoyed bingo and live music in the evening and during the day took advantage of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi . The food in the restaurant was hot and nicely cooked with a buffet style service and there was also a snack bar where you could buy sandwiches, burgers, chips, etc There was a bus stop outside and the tram station was literally over the road and it was a 10 minute ride to the pier. We enjoyed our long weekend and would stsy there again.
