Excellent location with views of Hyde Park

As I write this Heathrow is a nightmare and the Rail strike has caused chaos in the city. Here's what I know about Bayswater hotels: they are always a bit tired but in varying degrees. The Corus is one of the better ones I've stayed in. Elevators struggled and muttered message sush as "This lift is overloaded". One day the water turned completely OFF and then 30 minutes later it came back on but ran brown in my sink, shower and toilet. This left me terrified to drink the tap water or brush my teeth...but it all seemed under control by the time I returned from shopping 5 hours later. None of these put me off because this hotel has location, air conditioning, helpful staff, restaurant and did I mention location? All in all, it was expensive but all these Bayswater hotels are pricey in June. It's not a perfect hotel, but the staff couldn't not have been more helpful in these trying times. I would stay again.
