Not a good place to stay for a quiet night's rest.
This hotel is NOT the place to stay if you're looking for a quiet night of sleep. We had an amazing vacation up in the Redwoods and we were looking to spend the night in San Francisco before catching an early flight out the next morning. My main reason for selecting the hotel was the relatively inexpensive cost of parking ($25/night). When we arrived for check in, there were tons of staff an entertainment arriving for a massive and loud corporate holiday party at the hotel bar/restaurant/pool area. This meant the bar and restaurant were not available to guests, and that we would have no peace from the raging party outside our door for hours and hours and into the early morning. We may as well have not had walls - we could hear every cackle and laugh from the partiers and the music was so loud that the DJ may as well have been in our room. It was so incredibly awful for two weary travelers with an early morning flight. The area where the hotel is very seedy, but that wouldn't have been an issue for us as we were only planning to sleep. The other HUGE problem is no room coffee maker/no coffee available in the early morning hours. Unless one is actually attending a loud raging party at the hotel bar, I can't imagine a worse place to be when when is taking place.

Beautiful Hotel
Great hotel with excellent service. The area this hotel is located at is sketchy but not once did we feel unsafe. The hotel is an oasis. It’s beautiful. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you can expect. It’s my second time booking here and I totally would again.

Super cool,historical, fun Rock Star oasis ,smack in the middle of the Tenderloin.WITH parking and a pool!! So happy to discover this place. Right by Warfield and Great American Music Hall. Perfect for us out of town concert goers ! Front desk folks were awesome!
