I was a little disappointed with this stay because I paid for a Deluxe Confort room (bigger double room with big windows so I could see the city), and instead I got a regular size room (still quite big), but the windows were these small attic windows I would have to climb on top of the bed to look outside.
When I brought it up to the hotel, Cristopher said I was assigned the room I booked through Expedia, which was the smaller one I got according to them. Well, well, well. Low and behold, I have just received my receipt from them, and guess what it said I booked?
A Deluxe Comfort room, aka the bigger room with bigger windows. Did I get a deluxe comfort room? No. Did I pay for a deluxe comfort room yes. So which one is it Cristopher? Also, I spoke to Expedia and they also confirmed I booked the bigger double room, Deluxe Comfort NOT deluxe. Zero idea what happened there, but playing the blame game and pointing fingers is not cute.
Aside from staying in the attic of this building when I paid for a big room with big bay windows, the place was clean, modern with a great location in the middle of the old town. About a 7 minute walk from the clock and surrounded by cafes and shops. Felt very secure and had a very secure check in with a PIN code. Amenities were free, and the building itself was gorgeous. Wasn’t impressed with the lack of accountability though, and paying for something and getting something else.
