Great stay in the Windy City!!!
Great location within easy access to transportation; buses and the 'L'. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful giving good recommendations. You have to go to Portillo's and get their dipped italian beef sandwich. OMG, a total game changer. Very clean city and friendly people. Will definitely be going afain during the warmer months. One trip is not enough.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, some staff rude
The rooms were very clean and spacious, the breakfast was pretty good with hot food and waffles, the pool was great during winter since it's heated. Beware, the pool was closed for maintenance during our last day of stay, so call and ask if it's a deal breaker. Reception staff was amazing, very welcoming and accommodating. However, other staff was not so great. the security guard was terrible and potentially racist, was very rude to us (asian) but was so nice with white people right in front of us. When we arrived at 1am with luggages and sleeping baby in the stroller, just pressed the button to unlock the door but didn't even hold it, had to struggle with all the stuff while she just watched. Some staff in the breakfast and pool are were also rude so it took away from overall impression of the hotel. However, if you just care about rooms and location, this is a great spot.

It was good at when I first arrived
The room had a roach in it. The room was a nice room until I saw the roach on the lamp shade. I called and I told the manager and she just offered points. I just hate that this happened, and it was not ok. They need pest control.

Valet parking is 65 dollars with no multiple in/out privileges so we parked at a nearby self-parking facility. Three elevators are not nearly enough for the morning traffic, very long wait times. No housekeeping unless demanded. No soap bars or shampoo bottles, dispensers only. Overall good hotel and good breakfast.
