Chateau Fabulous
We were celebrating our great friend birthdays and did it in style at this beautiful slice of history. This is a must do experience. All the staff are fantastic and and should be proud of the job they do. Will be back.

Historical Stay
My stay was very relaxing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My room was superb. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very central to some of the more popular cellar door wineries. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a 2 night stay for my wifes birthday. The property is very nice and restful with many period features. The rooms are large and luxurious. The restaurant is a bit pricey for what it is but the ambience is great.

Overpriced, dated and poor breakfast
Chateau Yering is very overpriced. Not sure the olde worlde style commands this sort of price in today’s accommodation market. Comfortable bed however paper and fake eyelashes on the bathroom floor from previous guests wasn’t good. Breakfast was average. Staff were struggling to replenish food and there were lengthy delays for coffee. I have to say we were disappointed with our stay especially as it was our wedding night. I think 15 or so years ago this place would have been good but it’s not able to ride on its reputation anymore. Dinner was overpriced. Food was nice but nothing special. Didn’t appreciate paying such high prices to sit next to dead flies all over the window sill. Not good enough.
