The room is quite spacious as compared to hotels in Tokyo, however the room is dimly lit, not enough lightings, definitely need a light at the entrance, have to wear shoes in almost darkness. The dressing table area is badly designed, as you bend your head to use the plug, easily knocked onto the sharp corner of the cabinet even for adults. As for the rest, it’s centrally located and near the station.

We were awakened daily by unpleasant exhaust smells wafting from the dim inner alleyway outside our room. Throughout our stay, the room had a persistent odor that we attempted to manage using the provided room deodorizer spray. Unfortunately, the internet connection was unreliable, frequently cutting in and out every few seconds, making it extremely challenging to load webpages.

Very clean hotel and convenient hotel location. Kyoto station and this hotel is connected underneath so no need to walk outside if raining. The only complain we had was beds - super hard. We needed extra blankets to place under sheets.
