While public spaces have been tastefully updated (in the last year I was told) they have subsequently been supplemented with tacky dollar store flowers and mylar garland. The breakfast buffet has fresh food but is a study in chaos and inefficiency; Jif peanut butter during a recall is in questionable judgement. Hall tables were covered with so much dust people drew pictures on them. Splotches of paint wer every including ice and vending machines.
The real crime is the rooms. They are spacious with high ceilings and riddled with safety, comfort, and design flaws. Room paint cracked and peeling. Furniture dirty and scuffed. HVAC unit non-functional wirh no screen on the window. My bed was propped up with 2x4s that stuck out and bashed my ankles. There's no plug for the tub so no bath. There's no caulk around the bath filler so when you take a shower tons of water goes inside the wall; imagine what that does. No shower liner so water goes all over the floors. Broken door handle pinched my hand pretty good. Toilet hande broken. Pressurized toilet repeatedly self-flushed in the middle of the night till i woke up to find the tile floor flooded; used all the clean towels to block it from getting on the carpet. Thankfully, time to go.
