5:30am wake-up call, not the traditional way. 4th floor room, people fighting in the alley, refuse pickup…. Delightful way to begin the day …. Up and at it…. Thank you for starting the day the Hotel Pontchartrain way…. Received an email overnight that reservation was cancelled…. Must not be me staring at the ceiling shaken awake by the trash containers being strewn below… it’s all a dream …. Hotel Staff; smiles with no result…. Asked for an upgrade, late night checkin…. Rooms available…. It is what it is…. Property famous…. Results ordinary

$50/12hr parking. Unjustified
The parking for 12 hours cost me $50, which is terribly over priced. They can offer reasonable charges to their over night guest. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. The room was clean, however, like the city itself, it was stained and worn. We are from NOLA, so we are used to it and don't mind it. I know some would though. I discovered the cost of parking upon my departure. Although, we did enjoy our stay, I will not choose this hotel again unless the high price of parking decreases.
