Decent enough but room for improvement.
I was a bit disappointed with the room size but the view of the church and the mountains made up for it. (Be aware that you might not see mountains if the AQI in Beijing is bad, we were lucky). There were a few black marks on the carpet and what looked like chewing gum in the carpet of our room which let it down. The rest of the room and hotel were delightfully clean. Room itself is sound proofed in that you can’t hear neighbours, however, windows aren’t double-glazed so you can hear the city very clearly. If you’re a heavy sleeper like me, this won’t affect you. Bathroom in room was also small. Shower in fitness centre was much better, in my opinion. Speaking of which, pool was incredibly clean and manned as was the gym. Food from restaurant/room service was great and very reasonably priced. One last gripe, the room cards kept deactivating which was annoying because we had to go back and forth to reception to activate them in order to use the lifts. All in all, on ok hotel very close to subway stations and city centre.
