Cozy, comfy and quaint
I decided last minute to get a place close to Whiteface ski center. This cane up under hotels.com search Upon arriving , I received immediate communication from the owners who helped me find the specific cabin I rented. The hemlock cabin was super rustic and cozy. It was very clean and had everything you needed. I purchased some firewood for the fireplace inside the hemlock cottage. I was happy to see it had cable. As a single female, I felt very safe in the cabin and i was pleased to see the bathroom was modern and very clean. Had a nice hot bath, made dinner in the well equipped kitchenette, and cozied up to the fire, and my HGTV. Fell asleep to the crackling fire. It was bliss The bed was very comfortable and I slept well as it was so quiet in the woods. I will 100% rent this cabin again. I imagine Great for couples or for a single person like me to be close to hiking and skiing.

Family ski trip
The place is super cozy and perfect for our family trip with kids. The communication was fast and a staff member was always on site. It’s very close to whiteface mountain and good restaurants in Wilmington. It’s also a quick drive to lake placid . Definitely would love to come back!

My Fiancé and I had a fantastic time in our little cabin!! We stayed in the Tamarack and everything was wonderful!! Yann and Robert were very quick to respond to any question we had and even let us extend our stay no hassle!!

Amazing Place
Amazing place, this is truly a mountain cabin but is very close to everything you need (lake placid is only a 10 min drive). The place is super clean, and has everything you will need during your stay. Yann was excellent and very helpful from the moment I made the reservation he got in touch to make sure I had everything I needed. Definitely worth for the price will recommend to anyone.

Great Place to Stay!
Due to an impending winter storm, I decided to book a last minute stay at The Wilderness Inn rather than risking travel on bad roads. I needed a location close to Lake Placid with a full kitchen and this fit the bill! The cabin was absolutely perfect. Spacious and cozy with every amenity I needed for the few days I was there. The kitchen was stocked with various pots and pans, cooking utensils, sponge, soap, paper towels, etc. Small appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and microwave were also included. The gas fireplace insert was a great touch and made working from "home" 1000x better. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back for future work trips!

We had a great stay at the Wilderness Inn, we stayed in the Tamarack cabin. My niece and my daughter brought their young daughters and we went to Santa's workshop. It was nice to get back to the cabin and have a cozy fire in the fireplace. The six of us were quite comfortable for the night.
