Poor Communication/ Customer Service.
I wish I could give a review on my stay. However, I didn’t get to stay but The Adolphus gladly kept my payment and is refusing a refund.
I booked this hotel day off. I show up to the property and immediately greeted with free champagne and a lobby full of guests. One of a delighted greeting - so I thought. With a known failed system, no communication or warning of immediate unpleasant service and no timeframe of when to expect check-in, I was forced to book another hotel. When I attempted to receive a refund for not being able to check-in, The Adolphus refused my refund and claimed I was able to check in. I arrived at the property for check in at 2:30P. It is now 6A the following day and I have yet to receive a call that my keys are ready for my stay at this property. However, The Adolphus has gladly kept my money claiming I was able to check-in. I guess the champagne to booze the guests for their failed communication and poor customer service has to come from somewhere.
