We stayed the second week of September during the 2023 Reno Air Races. The Hotel was clean and check-in was easy. The room was clean and beds comfortable. There was no room service. We had to call to get fresh towels and soap. The maid do not pick up the trash as requested.
The restaurants closed early at 9:00 pm and were always crowded. One night, we waited :30 for a table and 1:00 hour for food. Once the food arrived, it tasted good. Most meals where at the food court. There are few choices to eat near-by. You have to drive a few miles away from the hotel. Food service was understaffed with limited hours. For a 24 hour Resort, this is poor management.
The other main issue was hotel layout. It seemed like the building layout was a maze. From the parking garage we walked a half level to the elevator, down a long corridor, up and down half flights of stairs, to a different elevator, to the room. There was very few signs for directions. One evening, after returning from the Reno Air Races, four of the six elevators were not working. There was a long line to go up to the rooms. Circus-Circus was a, you guessed it, a circus! The is connected to two other resort hotels, called; The Row. Steer away from all three. Find something else.
On the good side: the food was good and bed comfortable. Everything else we did not care for. I would not recommend Circus-Circus Hotel Casino Reno at THE ROW.
