Very nice place to relax!
Stayed here a couple days with family. Wanted to try the private onsen and it was very nice. Prior reviews stated that the front of the hotel faces a sort of recycling facility and that is true. The back of the hotel (where all the private onsens are faces the water and public road. However, the hotel asks that folks that use the private onsen keep the blinds down (probably because the general public don’t want to see half naked people anyway which I agree) so the outside view is moot. Other than that, the staff is extremely attentive and focused on your stay. The hotel also provides a free shuttle (need to reserve in advance) to take you to a few select places (Gora/Open air museum/etc). Also the hotel provides a foot bath in the courtyard, which is nice too. The hotel also offers a breakfast buffet option for $40+. While that seems pretty steep, there really is no other option for breakfast other than 7-11 across the river (8 minute walk). The breakfast is a little pricey but the food is decent (made-to-order omelets, pastries, eggs/bacon, fruit, etc). Overall, it was a nice hotel to relax and treat yourself.
