Beautiful resort. Directly next to desert hiking trails. Awesome fire pits to sit around. Needs some better food outlets. Restaurant was closed. Lovely grounds. Overall would definitely come back!
A pipe burst in the building at 2am and a piercing fire alarm blared for about 20 minutes. The coffee in the room is absolutely awful and there’s no microwave (?). The water park is impressive but there isn’t any poolside service and the drinks and food are way overpriced (ex: a $16 cheeseburger and it doesn’t come with fries?). And put more fire pits on your patio, there’s only two and people want to be spaced out. Unless I have a deep desire for a water park, I doubt I’ll stay here again.
Loved all the pools and hot tubs Great view Quiet Friendly staff Expensive food, but delicious
Am going to blame it on Covid; hotel was understaffed; not one time we're we asked (6 days) if we needed replacement towels or anything for that matter (we knew there'd be no room service); trash cans were overflowing everywhere and the elevator wasn't working (we were on 4th floor and had a family's worth of needs with us); my toilet clogged because the pressure was low so I unclogged it with a plastic bag...on-site restaurants were closed, so we had to travel off site to eat. Truly a bummer.... BUT, we could tell it's probably amazing during "normal" times (beautiful property), so we plan on making a return trip here in a year or so to give it another chance.
we enjoy this property. next visit we will golf.
The hotel is old. The bathrooms were very uncomfortable. No room service. The parking is very challenging- you have to park pretty far away. The grounds are nice but the neighborhood I simply wasn’t expecting and was very disappointing. This is not a resort level or 5 star hotel like it’s being advertised.
While the grounds are beautiful the rooms are ok. The beds are terribly hard as are the pillows. No bathtubs for those of us who like to soak. The walls are super thin between rooms so that you can hear other people’s conversations in their room as well as in the hallways. The waterpark is the highlight of the hotel. The water was warm and relaxing. The slides are extremely fun!
A really huge outdated property that was confusing to get around. Room was adequate and clean, beds comfortable.
I wasn’t sure if the oasis water park was really seven acres
We were in town to visit our Grandson who is a student at Grand Canyon University. We had a really nice family weekend, and we really enjoyed the waterpark. Wish more restaurants were open though.
