Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort

Wifi was AWFUL. I couldn’t even connect if I were willing to pay. I had to be outside, on the balcony to be able to reliably use my data. That’s unacceptable in 2021. I brought my laptop and planned on getting work done but there wasn’t an Ethernet cable either. Pool was great, though.

I did a reservation for a king size bed and I end up with a 2 queen size beds.

This resort was built in the 70s and they have not updated any of the rooms or facilities. The pools were barely heated and the hot tubs were not hearing properly. The pool decks and tennis courts are in desperate need of resurfacing. We had to change rooms three times at check in bc each of the rooms they placed us in were dark and seemingly not clean. Patios had not been wiped down as one had what seemed like dried slime that was dropped by above floor.

Nice but a little dated and not as clean as I would expect. Pools and hiking trails are great.

The service was great at the cafes and food was good! The rooms were comfortable and wasn’t noisy like most places I’m looking forward to the next trip there! The view from top bar is very beautiful!

Only complaint: bed sucks. After sleeping on it for the past 5 nights, I’m going to have to get a massage or see a chiropractor. The resort is nice, staff is great and the kids had an awesome time at the pool.

It was just a overnight stay . Nice hotel. It’s on the older side but well maintained . The pools looked awesome. Unfortunately we didn’t bring our suit .

This was an awesome resort. I would highly recommend staying here. Staff was great, rooms were clean, and price was perfect.

First impression of the place upon arrival was the check in staff arguing with a guest about the room that they received. I decided to not let this influence me, but then when we checked into our room, we arrived to a dingy, outdated, carpeted room that was difficult to get to because there are so many hills there. It was very late, just near midnight, we asked the check in staff if there was anything better available, but there wasn't. I wasn't about to stay there for 3 nights, with their outrageous resort fees, so we let them know that we would only be staying one night. I cleaned and disinfected our room, many stains and dirt was found. The refrigerator that was supposed to be in our room was actually only a tiny mini-fridge. The pictures on the website were not accurate, this place is very run down, in need of a lot of repairs and way overpriced.
