Beautiful layout. Didn't enjoy pool, was too crowded with people coming off the public beach who weren't
Great location. Will be a great property once renovations done
Great location to stay in Kaanapali Will be much better once the renovation is completed Service was very good with comfortable rooms Close to Whalers village
Amazing views of the ocean from the hotel rooms. Spa is currently under renovation
Gardens & pools were beautiful. Staff was very helpful.
easy access to spa, pools and beach! Patio area when on the first floor.
Our 1st trip to Maui. Great Hotel, great room. But hotel was in middle of construction on ground floor beneath the Beach Tower. We also surmise our tower and room and had fairly recently been renovated. Lingering smell of carpet glue on the floor. Great if you are looking for resort style hotel. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, try other areas of Maui and/or other islands. This was last hotel we stayed in during trip to Oahu, Big Island and Maui. Had beach front in all three and this was far and away the most expensive, including on Waikiki Beach. Get that it was peak season, but after $790/night with Hotels.com and hotel fees and taxes, plus parking, total came to almost $2k for two night stay. My wife loved the flamingos and parrots alongside the waterfall in the center courtyard. Also the luau at the hotel was nice, included all you can eat and drink, but charged for transportation and parking, but we were guests at the hotel and already paid for parking. Would stay again for a couple of nights, but probably not much more than that.
The view from our balcony was very nice. The property was clean. But i believe overall this hotel is overpriced
This was a very nice hotel. However they seem to be overbooked, where they were unable to accommodate my Bonvoy Titanium Elite status. I understand the hotel was/is still under construction, but the carpet coming up in all of the floors is unacceptable for a location like Maui and the amount each guest are paying for the week, the upkeep of the hotel should be immaculate or the maintenance should be immediately addressed.
The physical conditions were less than top notch. The renovations to the main dinning area was some of the problem but my main problem was the room itself. It is nothing but a very basic motel room. One chair!! The balcony had 2 chairs so we took one of them inside so we could both sit down!!! I have had much better rooms for less than 20% of what it cost in Maui. The Garden view was very good. The Staff was great. The room is a physical problem that can not be solved without major work.
