    Go straight to jail.....

    A very unique and pleasant accommodation. The hotel itself with its central, yet secluded and peaceful location, together with both the restaurant and surrounding gardens and cafe makes this place truly memorable. The staff is highly professional and super nice. Rooms are small but excellent, modern and sufficient. Breakfast had everything and then some. It's fresh and delicious. All around a top notch stay.

    I was at the hostel for four days. The place is nice quiet. At the reception, the administrator and his assistants are very sociable, very restrained because I do not know English and Swedish. And we had to communicate through an interpreter on a smartphone, it came to comic moments.

    Interessant - übernachten in einer ehemaligen Gefängniszelle. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig auf einer Insel voller Grünflächen und Bäumen und eigenem Minisandstrand.

    En mer annorlunda vistelse än vad jag hade tänkt.

    Jag är lite kluven till min vistelse, för den blev lite annorlunda. Jag hade bokat ett enskilt rum med en våningssäng i men det hade visst blivit någon dubbelbokning, så när jag kom fram mitt i natten (Skyltningen kunde också ha varit lite bättre, jag fick gå runt och tillbaka för skyltningen var inte tillräckligt tydlig tyckte jag) hade de ställt i ordning ett av konferensrummen till mig, det var en besvikelse, slapp dock kostnaden för sängkläder och handdukar. Det fanns bara taklampor i rummet och gardinerna gick inte att få igen så bra och den uppställda extrasängen var som en hängmatta att ligga i och värst av allt var att någon kom in i mitt rum tidigt på morgonen, öppnade dörren och tittade in, men stängde när de såg att någon låg där. Pratade med receptionen om det, och tydligen hade det missats att anteckna att rummet var upptaget. Fick inte många timmars sömn. Det var också svårt att hitta till ett badrum från konferensavdelningen. Men stället verkade väldigt rent och trevligt och frukosten var riklig och god och man kunde sitta ute bland äppelträd och äta.

    Historiskt, välskött, och stans vackraste läge

    Ett helt unikt boende där jag bokstavligen talat fick bo i ett museum! Naturligtvis är det ingen grand-hotel-säng eller lyxbadrum man får i ett vandrarhem i ett gammalt fängelse, men det hade bara förtagit upplevelsen. Istället var det enkel standard och rent och fräscht som gällde. Med museum i korridoren, lyxig brunch med möjlighet att äta på fin uteplats, och en fin badstrand precis utanför dörren, vad mer kan man önska? Läget i stan är också förnämligt.

    + Single traveller, stayed in a 4bed dorm in the hostel part. Lovely area and very nice and clean showers/toilets. Very friendly staff. - There are several places with cosy (lounge) chairs, but missed a couch to hang in. The cost for bedlinnen+towel is quite high for a hostel. Staff should mention there is a common guestkitchen and that you need a key to open a locker in the fridge.

    Wonderful place to stay

    A wonderful place in beautiful surroundings. Considering, we are in the midst of Stockholm, it is also quiet and with a lot of nature. Sleeping in an old jail and surrounded by the history of the jail is a rare and intensely good experience
