Fantastic stay in the midst of pandemic
This is in the midst of the world pandemic. There are no tourists. Singapore residents are not affected. Therefore, hotel guests are all locals. But it is a small country and a small market. During weekdays, you practically have the entire 5 star hotel to yourself! You only see patrons for their lunch and dinner outlets. As a result, they were very kind to give us very late checkout and free parking for two cars. The hotel itself is a very interesting classic with over 100 year history. It was nice to try out such a place.

Free upgrade was given upon check-in as the friendly staffs noticed that we came with 2 kids. Room is spacious and comes with a balcony. Breakfast was a spread. Was quite shocked to see a ceiling fan in our room. The aircon was quite noisy especially at night.

The stay was excellent. Love the hotel's very cozy and friendly ambiance. Made us felt that we were holidaying outside Singapore. Generally the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Although the hotel has been around for quite a while the rooms are very well maintained. Breakfast was awesome. The waiters and waitresses made sure that we had a good breakfast every morning. Although we did not get to try the buffet due to the pandemic, food served was more than enough. Thank you for the experience.

Booked this hotel for my boys to swim. Stayed for 3 days. Really nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love the room big screen TV and the balcony. During check out, I requested 1 of the lady to watch over my boys as I need to drive car over. She glady entertain them and even told me to leave my bags at the lobby. After collecting my car, she brought my boys over and get someone to help me with my baggage. I cant wait to stay with them again.

Well we pick this place just to relax after tiring period. The room was nice and spacious, the furniture were nice with the welcoming interior of the room. On the other hand i wish the tv would be given access to netflix, it would be a waste to not able to use the smart tv fully so people can login to watch with their own account. But overall it was a delightful stay. Thanks

Lovely staycation
Very lovely stay in a lovely hotel. We had one of the newly renovated rooms, modern and very clean. The hotel surprised us with a yummilicious choc cake for our 28th anniversary. The staff at reception were extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel is so near all the malls in Orchard Road, super convenient to find food if you want to try something else besides the restaurants in the hotel. Lots of shopping options.
