Mixed thoughts about this stay. We simply wanted a safe place to lay our heads each night while visiting during the Thanksgiving holidays. We weren't looking for luxury and didn't care about amenities. However, Comfort Suites failed even at the basics.
Maybe half of the rooms were under renovation--clearly visible through the open blinds as you walk through the breezeways. But hey, as long as our room was ok, this didn't matter much. If aesthetics matter to you, you won't like this. Most importantly, we got ZERO housekeeping for the entirety of our 4-night stay--despite asking for it twice! First request was Thanksgiving night, when we returned to the room and realized housekeeping had not come through. Front desk clerk informed me the housekeepers had been given the day off for Thanksgiving. Where in the hospitality industry do they do that? Nevertheless, he handed me two toilet paper rolls and promised the room would be cleaned the next day. It was not! We went in on Saturday morning to request the same and again were promised it would be cleaned that day. Got a call about an hour later saying they couldn't clean the room because our belongings were still in it and they didn't want to be accused of stealing. What in the ghetto motel is going on here?! I asked that they simply lean into the room and leave clean towels and more toilet paper, which they agreed to. Upon returning that night...no towels, no extra toilet paper! Book with this knowledge in mind.
