Preferred place to stay
My stay was good, I prefer to always stay in the tower at the sandman. The only issue I had was the couch had “white” stains all over, so a touch more care in cleaning would of been great.

The front end employees were rude. They didn’t let us know we could upgrade to a bigger suite, or tell us the price. We had broken shower curtains, the handle in the bathtub was loose. One light didn’t even work.

Good value hotel.
Hotel room was spacious and nice. Issues i had were glasses didn't look clean, the hvac unit in the bedroom turned on and off alot and even when shutoff kept running. The thermostat in tge bedroom had a non working display. The bathroom shower curtain was pretty torn at the top. Not a major issue just unsightly. All hand santizers were empty for a whole day so had to carry my own in and out of the building. Parking lot seemed to have unsavory characters always passing through. One night while parking, looked like someone was trying to enter a vehicle. Obviously high on drugs as he didn't care that i was there at first.

Poor visit to the sandman
They put us in a dirty room with a flooded bathroom. After advising them our bathroom was flooded they showed no care or worry to fix the issue. We were told to wait in our flooded room while they sorted it out. It took them an hour to put us in a new room. Which was a downgrade and offered no reimbursement or compensation. The staff showed no compassion towards us the entire stay. Quite rude, cold with terrible people skills. Rooms were not taken care of. I would not come here again or any Sandman from now on. Don’t waste your time in this hotel.

It was absolutely awful. I have stayed at this hotel before. And upon check in I had to pay a deposit which is fine. Gave the receptionist my pre paud visa the one i booked the hotel with. Was yold thats not acceptable went to oay the 250.00 deposit with cash again was told thats not acceptable either. I need a credit card which i do not have and pay for everything with cash that i do. So here i am drunk turned away after paying for the room on hotels.com with now know where to stay. Worst experience with Sandman hotel

The pool and hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay. The bed was also very comfortable as well.

I felt safe during the check in process. There was enough room for social distancing. The housekeeping staff phoned to see if there was anything that I needed. I ordered room service from Denny's. The person delivered my meal with mask and gloves on. He set the meal down by the door and stepped back. I was able to add the room service fee to my credit card at check out.

Ask for a tower room
We were originally placed in a room in the main, older, building. Admittedly, the condition of the room was not great - the furniture was aged, the walls had finger print marks on them (I assume kids), and it had a lingering tobacco odor. However, when we brought this to the attention of the concierge, we were upgraded to a room in the newer tower. The room in the newer tower was in great condition - newer furniture, clean, and quite. Recommended for short stays.
