Property and rooms tired in need of facelift. Furniture nicked and dusty, no room service menu, older bedding, stained carpet.
very clean ,nice location. COVID problem affects use of amenities, which is not their fault
Enjoyable bathtub interesting restaurant
We loved The Hotel Du Pont. Super clean room was large and the bed was extremely comfy! Had a soaking bath tub and separate shower the bathroom was huge! I would definitely stay there again
Great old historic hotel. One of the Restaurant managers when it was slow took us on a 5-minute tour of the hotel and gave us the history. Very cool!!! All the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.
Very nice historic hotel. Great restaurant inside.
This is a historic high end property but the experience didn’t leave you feeling like you had been there. The view from our window was the side of a building with ventilation pipes. So much for “room with a view” The dining facilities were under renovation so there was no place to eat in the hotel. We were there over Sunday and everything downtown was closed for breakfast so we were out of luck. The shining star was the outside bellman who was helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Nothing was open (restaurant, bar, etc.), room was tiny even though an upgrade, coffee supplies in room poor (cream solid, maker needed to be unwrapped from packing tape), shower water was brown, etc.
The hotel was beautiful everyone was super friendly
