I booked my hotel for Tuesday as my flight was not until midnight (12:30 am Wednesday) by the time I reached hotel it was 5:30 am . The front desk staff argued with me saying I cannot check in as it was past 3 AM and he already cancelled my room and gave it to someone else . He said I cannot check in until 3:30 pm . This was really stressful for me as I was traveling with my 2 toddlers and we wanted a room to rest fir few hours . Front desk guy was really rude . My experience was really bad at this location. When I told him that I am a loyal customer of holiday inn he said he did not care and I don’t know any of they policies . I was in family vacation and unfortunately he ruined my day as this incident happen as soon as I landed .

Not up to standard
This stay was not as enjoyable as I expected. With the look and location, I really expected this to compete with the other hotel in the area that I would normally stay. Pulling up to the hotel, the look was/is exquisite! The color scheme truly gives you the impression that you are about to have a pretty nice stay. Entering the building, front desk staff was very attentive and helpful with check-in. I was given a higher floor which I requested with somewhat of a view of Universal. Entering the elevators, there’s this old look to them, carpet in both elevator and hallways is worn and old. The room we were in, 710, felt congested as microwave is on top of small fridge and cords were protruding out which looked unsafe. There were small bugs in the sink in the restroom (see photo). I tried keeping the drain plug thinking they were coming in this way. The furniture is older. Beds were pretty comfortable.

Save your money!
Pictures and reviews are very deceiving. The floors were sticky and stained, and the bed sheets/towels smelled as if they hadn’t been washed. The plug ins were loose and couldn’t charge my phone, and also the tv did not work. Overall I had a horrible experience and don’t recommend. I’m upset I spent my money on a room like this.

Very bad experience DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
I booked a two room suite when I arrived I was told they did not have a suite available, I was told that the suites are not very nice in fact I was told they wouldn't even stay in them as per Hector. (That was a lie they draw you in with a cheap suite rate then lie there way in to a room instead.) I was given two rooms instead, one of the rooms the toilet did not work so they had to move me again. I still did not have the kitchenette that I book, the tv did not work in either room. I contacted the front desk the next day and was told they would move me into a suite that evening. We where moved into a nice 2 bedroom suite with a very nice kitchenette but it was not cleaned. There was trash and food in the fridge the beds where not made and there was a pile of towels on the floor. I contacted the front desk again they moved me for the 3rd time into another 2 bedrooms suite with a very nice kitchen that seems ok except the last resident put all of there trash in the cabinet and it was never cleaned out. At this point I was done I went to the front desk and got a trash bag and cleaned all trash out and finished our stay. I was told they where going to credit me one night for all of my trouble that was a lie also. I would not recommend staying here it is very poorly ran and not very clean. Very disappointed that as per Hotel, com this a fairly highly recommend place to stay but is was a nightmare for me and my family!!!!

They "upgraded" oir rooms to the renovated room. I reserved a king bed and got 2 full beds. It was valentines day weekend and my husband and I had to sleep in seperate beds because we were really uncomfortable in a full bed. The shower didnt work. We had to wait until someone came in and fix it. It wasnt fast either. Morning came and starting at 7:30 am every hour housekeeping would knock to see if we were still there to clean the room. The rooms were new in the sense that no one had stayed in them before and you can tell. It was dusty from the construction, blue tape from painting still on and it was HOT. The a/c would take about 15 min to turn on. It was a mess and I'm never coming back. The concierge said they were advised the rooms were ready and they knew they were not. So why put us in those rooms???

Customer service was good.. exterior and lobby were very nice updated and clean. Once you get off the elevators to go to your room, several different floors smelled of trash and old moldy wet carpet .. the carpets down hallways were filthy with stains as well as not being vacuumed. We where there three days and that never changed.. the rooms were not updated and smelled of moldy carpet but were clean. pool area nice . Parking is $17-20 a night and breakfast available for purchase at connected Friday’s restaurant. Two vending machines that only take cash. On site convenience store closes at 10 pm but has a bit of everything you may need! Would stay again if they clean and updated the upstairs hallways n rooms

Not positive
First room we arrived at had a large puddle of water in front of the refrigerator and had an odor We switched to a different room, smelled like bleach which we took as a positive, but surfaces were definitely not clean, we ended up cleaning surfaces ourselves with Santi wipes One bathroom the shower was wanky and had a constant slow trickle. Headboards were worn badly - we did not feel the room was clean We chose this hotel because it could accommodate 10 people, but would not chose to stay here again Staff were very friendly - that was about the only positive about the trip
