We had a nice stay. Older property, but appears they are updating. Overall, fairly clean.…
Dirty room, plugged bath sink, plugged toilet, no hot water after running it for 10 mins…

Very good
A very nice, clean hotel!
It was mostly a great experience. The clerk was friendly, the room was clean. However, the card reader at the parking lot entrance wasn't working, which caused us to walk around the building after dark. Also, the light in our room would mysteriously turn on and off while we were trying to sleep! We reported both to the desk during checkout.

This hotel definitely needs to complete the remodel efforts in the bathrooms. The shows look very old and rushed.

Wouldn't stay again
Housekeeping missed the details. Dirty around trash cans, desk. Drips/splashes and hand prints on the headboard. Broken toilet seat. Someone previously taped a trash bag over the smoke detector

Very good
Gent who checked me in seemed a bit unwelcoming and I wish I had been told no cash as it created a bit of an issue though managed to resolve before checkout. Otherwise nice enough stay. Older building that has been rehabbed with some corners cut a bit, but no issues, everything worked, and it was comfortable.

Update availability online. And consider priceing
Paid full price for a room. Same room we got last year. They have no breakfast, no pool, and no courtyard games, no bus shuttle. And none of this was stated online. Also found lots of hair! All over the room. Small ones all over the floor if bathroom and in the beds. We had no choice to stay here. This place let us down big time.

It would have been an awesome stay except the pool and restaurant were both closed to due the COVID. Room was nice and bed was comfortable.

Wonderful!
Always stay at this hotel any time we are in Grand Rapids. Super close to the freeway and close to some delicious breweries. Wonderful service and they even upgraded us to a room with a view of the river instead of the parking lot!

Poor
I thought the advertisement of the facility was a nice picture. Where do I begin, was charged full price for room no pool was available nor breakfast buffet, found that displeasing. The ground-level smell of urine, then "the elevator" to our room on to the second floor had wreaked of marijuana. Poorly maintained in cleaning for example dust bunnies across the head board of bed, toilet seat in very sad condition, the refrigerator was almost completely frozen up inside, the shower looked poorly maintained: the sealant was exposed in several spots. For the price of $136.86 for one night, we were very displeased.
