We went for the John Edward show so we decided to get a room and make a night of it since there was a restaurant in the hotel. Show ended about 9:15 we went to our room to drop stuff off, was to the restaurant about 9:30. Waited for someone to take a drink order for 10 minutes and the place was not busy. Ordered drink and asked to order food was told kitchen is closed. On the door it said food could be ordered till 10. It was 9:38 and told no. Then they must not have wanted to wash glasses because we ordered captain & coke and they gave them to us in a plastic shot glass. The other customers had normal size real glasses for their drinks. Then got charged 8.50 a piece. I watched them being made didn’t even get a full shot of alcohol mostly pop. Then in the room at first glance seemed ok. But after my wife asked did you throw q tips in the trash? I said no. She says well there is trash in this can. So not the end of the world but makes you wonder how well anything else was cleaned if that was missed. Then 2 of the pillows cases had stains on them. So we were pretty disappointed. Had to go out to get food and drinks with a bar and grill on the premises and took 2 of the pillows off the bed and hoped the rest of the bed was clean. The check in people were very nice though to be fair. They gave us cookies and I thought that was pretty nice. This must be a good place. I didn’t know that would be the high light.

smoke and stink
The staff is friendly and kind but very understaffed. Everything took a very long time. The level we were on smelled so bad like trash and mold. I had to transfer rooms because it smelled strongly of cigarettes. They covered up the smell in there and in the night the cigarette smell was back. It was awful. They offered me chocolates and wine which was nice.
