    Let me start with it was a nice classic looking hotel. Rooms are a bit outdated but overall it was good. I brought my team for a company holiday party and we reserved multiple rooms plus an event room. Everyone was able to check in just fine except for one party. They stated that the room was cancelled and if they did not pay, they would be kicked out. I’ve never encounter such harassment for an error between the hotel and hotels.com/Expedia. Expedia confirmed the room was paid for but the hotel staff continue to hassle me to pay for the one room that had reported canceled. I finally had enough of it on day 3 and told the hotel staff to take it up with Hotels.com and Expedia. Few weeks later we saw a refund come in to our corporate account and payment was programmed to be paid once again directly to the hotel.

    Few hiccups but beautiful hotel

    Ok so this Hotel is Amazing and beautiful, very well kept and very clean . The entire place is extremely clean and the staff for the most part is great . Beautiful. Now for my complaints. First one is when I checked in I paid for a superior room with a balcony,,, at first they put me in a regular room and when I asked they told me there was none available. , but the manager at the time made it happen . Then they told me they would move my luggage to my room ,,,, well they brought luggage but it was not mine . Besides that it was good all up until I visited one of there restaurants at 2:50pm and I wanted to order off there lunch Menu but I was told that it was not available at that time of the day . But besides that it’s a gorgeous hotel with great and friendly staff . Beautiful area in cali . I would absolutely stay there again .

    The only thing good about this hotel is the pool and the spa. I booked a king size bed room and ended up with a queen size they did nothing to rectify even tho I’m an Expedia gold Member. Rooms are super old and carpet in hallways smells like dirty feet. The front desk are aggressive and rude and flat out liars when I questioned them about my room and guests to use the pool. I should have trusted my instincts a d stayed at the Marriott. The room service menu is horrible and super expensive. The empanadas are so small it’s embarrassing to Colombians. There are no desserts on the room service menu also. Super rare and stupid. For my “free” breakfast they charged me for my espresso and bottle of water. When I questioned them they told me if I had gotten a Cappacino it would have been free. Also coffee is free. It doesn’t make sense. As a world traveler I guarantee you this is not a hotel for you.
