Overpriced
Stayed here for Ultra Miami. Pictures are nicer than the actual hotel. The room and bathroom was very small and had no mini fridge. We paid extra for the room with the bay view and the picture showed a large open window and we did not get what was pictured although the view was great. The headboard of the bed was gross and the carpet. No garbage bin in the washroom / no recycling bin in the room and there was no bag in our ice bucket...

Great Hotel
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We were in town for UMF and I really appreciated that YVE gave all guests wristbands and restricted access to people with wristbands only. That practice made me feel safe. I also really appreciated how so much was within walking distance.

Soapless hotel
For $400 a night this place was not even worth $150. Customer service is really ridiculous. Only had one good person don’t remember her name. I had no soap in my Rall I had to ask twice for soap no hand soap no shower soap just ridiculous first unless I will be staying there

Would avoid at all costs
Disappointing would be a dramatic understatement. This hotel was polished up for the photos but in person it was very dirty, reminiscent of a cheap motel condition wise and felt like staying in a demilitarized zone with a lobby full of unfriendly armed security. The highlight was how when the water in the shower works (it randomly just stops and when it does run it barely has enough pressure to get you wet) you can watch the floor of the shower turn black with the dirt coming off your feet from the carpet in the room. To be clear I never wore sandals or anything so there is no question where it came from. And what is the desks remedy? Slammimg you with huge resort fees at checkout. I stay in multiple hotels per month for business and this is one I will never set foot in again. If I forced to come up with a positive, the location is decent, it ends there.

When we arrived the room was not ready yet but they gave us free drinks to have in the bar which was nice and we had a really nice young man as our bar tender. We decided after seeing the food coming out to others that we would have dinner there at the bar later. We got checked in and the room was small but beautiful views and very nicely set up.

Very difficult stay
Only one small semi-operational elevator in the building. We had to walk down 10 flights of stairs several times. The hotel was fully booked and it was impossible to bring our luggage down in a reasonable time since staff eliminated our ability to call the elevator because they were too busy. It was a safety hazard as well as an inconvenience. Rooms were worn and bathroom was tiny and shower was dirty.
