Not a good experience !
The guest check-in was OK. Pleasant person at the counter. At first appearance, the room looked better than average. Then, we had someone bang loudly on the door three times. When we got to the door there was no one there. Tried to get a quick snack and learned there was nothing on the property except for pre-packaged stuff. We went to an event and came back to find the WiFi didn't work, the TV lacked program options and was hard to navigate. During the night it was horribly noisy with elevator noise each time the elevator went up and down. NO SLEEP AT ALL ! We got up to leave and learned there was no place that served breakfast.

Not with the money!
This has been one of my favorite places to stay when I come to a Tahoe. Unfortunately, it will be my last. 1. The parking (self or valet) is excessively priced. I have been staying there for years prior to the parking fees. It is ridiculous to charge customers for self parking when they are already paying for a stay, eating, drinking, and gambling in your hotel. 2. Now that COVID restrictions are pretty much lifted, to be greeted with a can of beer over a glass of champagne is classless, cheap, and not the quality of service I have enjoyed when staying at the Hyatt. Especially, now that customers are charged for self parking and resort fees are so high. 3. Initially we were put in a handicapped room on the first floor. Not sure why. But we always stay where we have a partial view of the lake. The staff was great about making a quick room swap. 4. Paying to park at Lone Eagle grille is an excessive and ridiculous thing to add to what is already over the top price gouging in the bar and restaurant. I was shocked at how much prices are for a glass of champagne or a daiquiri!!! $20! And the restaurant pricing for a filet was over the top. I believe the pasta dish was $40! Yikes! 5. A cosmopolitan cocktail in the Cutthroat Saloon was $18 and was horrible. It tasted like perfume mixed with soap. I was told it was the Hyatt brand of vodka and if I wanted a different vodka it would be a lot more expensive. WHAT??? Bottom line, too expensive for what you receive!!!

Very nice property. They offer a free shuttle to restaurants within a couple of miles of the resort and are dog friendly. Very clean and their outdoor pool is heated year-round.
