There was a long line of customers checking in at 9pm. I was told one price of the hotel and when i got there it’s was different bc there was a parking fee that I was not aware of. Also we could not find a parking spot by our building and had to park 3/4 buildings down. The elevator was not working right and was not labeled out of service and my mother in law almost got stuck, the door on the closet almost fell off when we tried to open it. We were not given towels until we asked and the room was not cleaned during the day. The breakfast was not Continental breakfast. It was pre-packaged food and you had to pay for water, and you either had to bring back to room or sit outside to eat. The money I paid for the hotel I felt like I was being ripped off.

The hotel was beautiful, nice rooms & service was great. Would have been nice to have been informed that they were hosting a huge event the weekend we were there though. The music from the event was so loud we could feel the bass from our room and the family pool was off limits which caused the Laguna pool to be overcrowded.

A little misleading...
While booking this room, I expected to be staying in the main Double Tree building and did not know the motel next to it was bought out by them. I got the room in the “renovated” motel and it sure felt like it. Carpet, chairs, and sheets were stained. Toilet was not secured on the floor properly and some of the lights weren’t working. Overall, the room wasn’t in bad condition, but it definitely didn’t provide enough comfort. Air conditioning was a little loud and room felt a little damp. However, staff and check-in were very nice and quick.

Bad front desk experience
I was checked into a dirty room; unmade beds, trash everywhere, smell of smoke, and simply disgusting not only once, but twice! I walked around the rooms to find one that was unattended and clean and told the front desk, I wanted this room. It was a hassle and customer service was poor. The resort over all was wonderful. People were friendly and pools were relaxing.

Great pool bad experience unclean room
I booked the suite that states with gaming system, never got it when I asked people had no clue what I was asking for. Room was dirty asked for housekeeping never got it when I called housekeeping at 7pm to ask what happened they said oh sorry. The bathroom light didn’t work I called the front desk 7x no answer. The people at the desk could of advised they were putting me next to a convention I would of picked a different room instead of being up until 3am nightly listening to loud music and not sleeping at all during my 4 day stay.

Definitely what it’s portrayed to be
The day before, we knew something was wrong because we had called the location 4 times and were on hold for 45 minutes each call and no one answered our calls. We tried calling again the next day a few times and still ended up with the same results. We had no issues checking in and finding our room, but we realized the section they put us in was not good. They have a sign up that says no smoking on property, but you can smell the weed before walking up to the building and inside of the room. There was even a bag from it on the floor as we walked up to the poolside. They gave us pool view, but the tiki bar played their music LOUD from 9:30a to midnight every day, so our stay was not peaceful at all. The rooms looked like DoubleTree had bought out a La Quinta and just tried to spruce up the room a little. We were very disappointed with our stay. The pictures and info before booking made the place seem nicer than what it actually is.

It wasn’t that great!
First of all, we were put in a handicap hand. I’m not disabled and didn’t need the room (give it to someone who needs it) I DID NOT GET TO BE IN THE ACTUAL HILTON HOTEL. It’s like a motel six right next to it, but it’s owes by them. Our AC unit was LOUD!! Very high pitch squeak some times. Beds weren’t that great. Lucky I was only there to sleep and get ready, but I didn’t get anything I paid for and I wasn’t happy! Staff was friend though, check in was quick and easy!

Not Hot
Booked 1 night last minute - Hotel is very outdated from the rooms to the lobby and surroundings. Room itself had a musty odor and was very loud (pool is near and is open until very late) . At check in notice the worker giving one ahead of me a room that was already occupy. No designated smoking areas upon walking to our rooms people are smoking EVERYWHERE. Not many dining options at the hotel and what there was was very costly. Was planning a trip next year for Seaworld will not pick this hotel. This hotel is not for families no lifeguard on deck. But the worst is just people smoking on balcony and where they please. (Marijuana + Cigarette) .
