Sunway Resort Suite @ Lagoon & Pyramid

The toilet bowl lid is not a fitted size. The hair dryer is broken and there is a note on it. The fridge was working well. The heater is an instant water heater and therefore not usable with the long bath. The shower head was leaking. The bed light was working but the outfit is loose and will come off. Check in and out instructions was clear. Location is good but car park is very pack during peak seasons.

I wasted more then 2 hours then get my key to the room. There's no check in counter n I got no internet/Wi-Fi need borrow phone from people to call luckily the number I had Screen shot earlier .But was very disappointed it took so long for someone to pickup n was told to collect key from mail box. After check in bed n pillows was very uncomfortable n shower head holder was not working too .It was a very bad stay experience that I never encountered before.

Price is ok..

Decided to stay here for a business trip as my usual place when visiting Malaysia was fully booked. Arrived at the room only to find out that it was quite dirty and outdated. Curtain shower was moldy and there was long hair on the floor, sign of poor cleaning. The worst didn't stop there though. As the night fall and went to bed I realised that it was such a noisy room. The outdoor unit of the room is just outside of the balcony and was making a terrible noise. Also there is a massive cooling tower within 100m from the room for the AC of the mall opposite and was quite noisy as well. It wouldn't make difference whether I had the balcony door open or close😅! Long story short I ended up not sleeping almost for the whole night. On contact with the operator (which proved difficult to get in touch) they offered me to switch to another room but they told me that the same issues will be in the new room as well. Asked to speak to the operator face to face and I did but she was so ignorant of the issues I highlighted to her and she was keep telling me all these are normal!! Contacted hotels.com explained the circumstances and got refunded. Used the refunded money to book a room at another hotel in the area. Save yourself from trouble and avoid at all costs! There are much better options for the same money in the area! PS: I rarely leave reviews unless they are really bad!

Got to know it is a homestay after check-in (you have to check in yourself as it is a homestay). No soap, no tooth brush and paste, no comb, nothing except for shampoo and shower gel in the bath room. Room card wasn't working for elevator to access the floor until they managed to change it for me. 32-inch TV in my room is a sign of cheap furnishing. No swimming pool is associated with the building. A lot of noise outside the balcony as rooftop cooling fans are the on the shopping mall right in front and cooking smells rise up from the restaurants downstairs so keep the balcony door closed anyway. Good aspects are comfort and clean beds (one king, one single), a dinner table there with full set of table wares including one for kid. Lighting in the room is ok and two-box fridge is bigger than regular hotel ones.

The location and service are good. However the condition of the room is quite old.

This is not a hotel, more an apartment with little service. Window facing a mosque so you can hear religion chants many times a day - can be disturbing early in the mornings. Suggest you bring your own towels because the ones provided are not so clean. Pictures in hotels.com are way better than reality.

Nothing to say, just design a bit bad

The property is old and not well maintained. Thin walls. Great location.

The place was nice and clean and the AC worked great.
