Wonderful Boutique Hotel.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel well located in Polanco near both the park and the main shopping streets of Polanco. It was easy to get an Uber in minutes from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Mexico City.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and is close to key attractions like the Anthropology Museum and Museo Rufino Tamayo. Our room was beautiful but a tight fit for two people with two large suitcases. Staff was super helpful and was kind enough to put in some work to book us a tour through Casa Pedregal (a must-visit for design lovers). Having a restaurant at the hotel was very helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our room booking. Quick Uber trips to other great neighbourhoods like Roma Norte.

The hotel is everything it promises to be. Orchid House is a lovely, quiet, boutique hôtel with a friendly welcome, a great atmosphere, and amazingly comfortable beds and pillows! We easily walked to the must see attractions and best restaurants in Polanco, and the breakfast that was included in the room rate was the perfect start to each day. I will highly recommend Orchid House to all of our friends, and we will definitely be back!

I love the atmosphere and feels like my home away from home. Polanco is a very safe and quiet neighborhood and has a close proximity to restaurants, bars, and shops. We had a room on d second floor that has a terrace overlook the roundabout. I will define recommend Orchid to anyone going to CDMX!

It’s my second time visiting Orchid house and I love it! Shout out to the amazing waiter I had at their restaurant at breakfast, Eduardo! Such kind service. The front desk team as well. I had a few things to be cleaned and they helped me arrange those services and the room of course was lovely. I look forward to visiting again.

Unique small hotel

Orchid House is a very pretty hotel with beautiful rooms that seem like from colonial days. The doors are thick wood and the hotel has great ambiance. It is also within 2-4 blocks from many great restaurants-the location is very good. The breakfast offered is just fruit and a biscuit, not very good. We had room 1 next to the front desk and it is too noisy for our tastes. We would have preferred an upstairs room. Overall Orchid House is a good place to stay especially if you like walking to the many great restaurants in the area.

Absolutely perfect for my trip. Everyone is so lovely. Shout out to Alex and Victoria and the maintenance gentleman. Sorry for ripping the handle off of my door. This is my spot from not on. They put youtube meditation bamboo video on in the evening in your room. They stock you with water. It’s a pretty building. Food is great. Birria and biscuits were primo. Honor system bar. Nice patios.

The property has a nice decor, friendly and helpful staff and located in a safe neighbourhood. Our suite was on the main floor near the front desk. It was very nice and clean, spacious bathroom with two sinks and the beds were just amazing. Like sleeping on clouds. The only negative was that the room had windows that were sealed and covered so we couldn't get any natural light and the water pressure of the sinks were weak. If you need a view/natural light in your room, make sure to check for that. Overall it was a great experience and we would come back again.
