There was no where to park, although there was parking it was all taken, maybe because I arrived late at around 11.30pm. Could do with a bit of updating, it was clean and comfortable.

Room was small and comfortable , door on the bathroom did not shut fully from the inside and the tv remote did not work . The lift was out of order which was a bit of a pain as I had a bad back but overall it was clean and I would definately stay again .

Cheap but faded

Very reasonably priced for it's location and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was very cold and the curtains didn't cover the window which made sleeping difficult. There was also mould in the shower and the decor in general was very faded. You could also hear any internal noise from the corridor and the wifi didn't reach to my room.

This hotel is spotless. I was that impressed, i asked them to pass on the message to their housekeeping staff. The building shows signs of usual wear and tear but Nadia & her team obviously work hard at keeping the areas clean. No signs of cobwebs or dust...anywhere. For the price we paid, it was an excellent choice. Ive paid much more for hotels which have no where near the cleanliness of this place. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Well done to all.

Small but nice

Place looks a little run down from the outside. I was worried when i arrived. Paid to park outside but was told later when checking in to ask them for a parking permit at 2.20 a day. Much cheaper than the parking meter. The room was small and basic but had the sea view we paid extra for. The room had been freshly pained and carpeted. The shower and toilet door didn't close properly due to the thick paint on them. The room was extremely warm and only one window opened a couple of inches. The other was pained shut. Overall the room was fine for a base. My only issues were lack of plugs with only one each side of the bed and the huge headboard that creeked with every movement. Staff are all great and couldn't be faulted. Bar was fine and they offer pizzas on site. That's the only food available i was aware of. All in all a nice stay.

The receptionist was great and very helpful. All the staff were friendly and never far away. The room was a good size and the bed and bedding were all good. The bathroom and toilet were tiny but worked. When sat on the toilet my knees touched the wall in front of me. The shower worked as it should and there was plenty of hot water. The drain smelt. The basin was do small I could not wash my hands in it together had to rinse each hand one at a time. Other than that the room was warm and quiet.

When going to used the shower we had no water coming out of it. We were in a rush to get out so went down to tell the receptionist. When arriving back to the hotel that evening the hotel staff said it was sorted. Went upstairs and my 5yr old daughter got into the shower. We managed to get it to a warm temperature at this point I started to wash her hair what I didn’t realise was when I went to rinse the shampoo out the temp continued to rise and burnt her but I was quick to remove! The shower had no cold water going to it at all. They did move us to another room but this could have been very messy if I hadn’t been so quick. WC and Shower room could do with updating as looking very old and tired. Also still had someone’s empty shower gel bottle left in the shower.

The stay was average, we got what we paid for, but the staff member on the front desk was amazing. We can't complain for £57 for the night, especially as we were only staying after a family funeral
