We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a couple of nights and Baton Rouge West Inn was perfect for what we needed. The motel is well used but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. If you want an innexpensive place to lay your head and you don't need much else, this is a good place to stay.

Its the perfect place to stay if you need a 34 or even a layover like i did last night. $51 is hard to beat, lots of truck parking right next door and all kindsa food within 3 minute walking distance. Room was nice n cool, clean n bed was pretty comfy. 5 stars all around id say!!

You get what you pay for

This is a motel in need of remodeling. It sits next to a truck depot with semis coming and going all night. The heat is a noisy window unit, and the outside door needs weather stripping to keep our cold air. You get just what you pay for. No breakfast. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Only one bath towel.

Passing through

Passing through in the middle of a road trip, and the only reason I stayed here was I was exhausted and it was cheap. The physical condition of the place is less than desirable, and I wouldn’t bring my wife here. The good things were the lady at checkin was super friendly, the pillows were comfortable, and I didn’t see any hair or garbage on the sheets or in the bathroom.

After reading the previous reviews I was a bit nervous. However, it met my expectations since it was cheap and was VERY clean! Don’t expect a Hilton for this price, but for me it was about just sleeping and being safe! Yes it is older, but you can already tell that from the pictures! The hot water was AMAZING!!

The pictures on the website are very outdated/inaccurate. The onsite bar and pool pictured have both been closed for 5 years. The surrounding area and people wondering about the property made the property felt unsafe. I would not recommend this place for women and/or women traveling with children, unless they have/carry a weapon for protection.

It was much cleaner this time. The AC actually worked this time. The bed was comfortable. I didnt like that the parking area is dark. We needed another blanket. The main issue was that we paid through the app and the woman in the front refunded the room and made me pay with my credit card because I paid online with my husbands card and he wasnt with me. Last time this wasnt an issue.
