We stayed for 2 nights and we loved the place . We felt at home . Was very convenient and good location and close to the airport. Unfortunately we didn’t get the pickup from the airport and we had to find our own transportation to the hotel. Over all was a very good experience and we will definitely be back .

It was a nicht lttle Family Hotel. Very personal and individual. After some initial difficulties – which were due to misunderstandings regarding our shuttle – the contact was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable!

Our host was really helpful and organized a taxi ride and our getting a SIM card from the wonderful lady next door. The self service breakfast was perfect . We will stay here again on our way home as it is convenient for the airport . Very reasonably priced too.

My travel partner and I had a great one night stay here at Alice y Juancito. Esteban was very courteous and welcoming. The location is like 12 mins from SJO which was extremely convenient. The neighborhood was walkable and not very touristy. As a matter of fact, we didn’t run into many tourists at all around here. The property itself is so cutely decorated and cozy, we felt very comfortable here. We’d absolutely stay here again.

The property was perfect for us! We had our own room and bath but shared an entire home! Kitchen, living room and ding room! Along with a beautiful court yard! Many places around to walk to, they helped us plan some sight seeing tours and were all round kind and considerate! EXCELLENT ON ALL COUNTS!!

We stayed only 1 night as we needed a place close to the airport for our flight the next day. Loved the shared space which was so clean and well presented. The outdoor patio with the little fountain was calming. If only we had more time to enjoy this space. The all day breakfast is a bonus with sliced fruit in the fridge and eggs (make your own), bread, coffee, tea, etc. Probably the cleanest place we stayed at in all of Costa Rica. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and communication was seamless. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

I stayed for 1 night when arrived to Costa Rica. Owners are great, very friendly and helpful! I loved the story about the house history. They ask everyone to sign on the wall in the living room, looks impressive :) Room was clean and comfortable, comfortable bed, of course you hear when someone’s talking in the living room or kitchen - it’s a house :) Self service breakfast all day was good early in the morning. Pick up and drop off at the airport for a small fee was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again!

Warm atmosphere.

This place was great. It was so welcoming and warm. I felt like I had gone back in time. Everything was old-fashion and authentic. It was unique in itself. Nice and clean. I wish I had had more time to spend there. The hotel boutique has a really great history behind it. I loved it. It has a really unique way of checking in. I really liked that. I do suggest that you use a parking lot to park your rental car. There is one not far away from the site. The hosts were very helpful with an unfortunate situation we had. I appreciated that. They also offer airport drop-off for $5. Which is great. I´d definitely stay there again.

We only spent one night, so easy to find.. Quick UBER from SJO. Our arrival was a bit of a hiccup, the codes for self entry did not work Bit the problem was rectified and new codes given. There is breakfast (self service) with basic items available, self clean up as well.. The room was off a nice garden area and quiet. Overall for the value and one night it was fine, they offer a great service for a airport/drop service! 5$ ttl.

We had a really great stay here. Very quaint and the all day breakfast was a big plus. PLEASE BE AWARE that the gated parking that they suggest is $35 for day+night. And DO NOT park outside the hotel. Our rental car was broken into and the spare tire was stolen ;(
