The incredible view of Mt Rainier and beautiful Mineral Lake from the shore. Mineral Lake is known for being the home of the 10 lb trout!
This is located on the south-western side of the mountain and is a great day trip from the Seattle area. There is a boat launch and campgrounds at the lake, one only accessible by boat that is, by-word-of-mouth, unbeatable with a view of the mountain. A lovely place to spend some time visiting.
There is also a historic lodge (with this view) nearby that is available to stay in.
